Refugee and Asylum Seekers Project requires volunteer befrienders

RASP are seeking volunteers aged between 18-25 to become befrienders to young asylum seekers and refugees in Brighton and Hove.
RASP have fortnightly drop in’s where we need volunteers to get involved and support the groups activities. You would be provided with on-going support while volunteering and a national certificate on reaching certain milestones when volunteering. Activities at drop includes: IT workshops, cookery sessions, art and photography sessions, music sessions, CV writing and well-being sessions. From time to time we also organise group volunteering sessions in the community where we require volunteer befrienders to support the group to get involved.
